O autismo nas escolas: um olhar diferente sobre a teoria e a prática educativa

Abstract

This work had as thematic the inclusive education of students with autism. Raise questions about the educational practices of teachers facing the diversity of the teaching-learning process, in particular when it comes to the schooling of students with autism was the goal guiding the work. How to know if a student has autism? Which educational interventions are most effective in the classroom? What the school needs to make sure while that the institution sócio-educational? The teacher works with the diversity of students in the classroom, each with its particularity and when talking about students with autism the challenge becomes greater in a first posture that the student is his social isolation. To understand what is autism, what are the ways to identify it and the possible causes that give rise to the disorder are essential knowledge for the teacher to find out which paths to follow. The incidence of cases of autism grows each year in Brazil and in the World. Dialogue about the best ways to teach and learn within this scenario, it is inherent to the profession of a teacher. As important as understanding the unique characteristics of students with autism, is to seek means of addressing the challenges of inclusive education happen in the schools. In addition, it is essential to ensure each student arrives, including those with autism, the right to learn and to communicate with the world around you.
