| Resumo: | Este trabalho teve como temática a investigação das razões que têm causado o desinteresse dos alunos frente aos assuntos que envolvem o ensino de ciências no século XXI e a contribuição e influência do modelo de escola atual para o estabelecimento de padrões comportamentais dos estudantes da disciplina de ciências. Dessa forma, os objetivos deste trabalho visam à análise dos principais desafios do ensino de ciências contemporâneo, tal como a falta de interesse dos estudantes de ciências e também, propõe-se a analisar as razões que estão causando o desinteresse, a desmotivação e alienação desses alunos nos temas inerentes à aprendizagem em ciências. Para tanto, o trabalho foi desenvolvido a partir de uma pesquisa aplicada com a finalidade de gerar conhecimentos sobre os desafios envolvidos no processo de ensino-aprendizagem de ciências na atualidade por meio de dois questionários, um para os docentes e outro para os discentes de duas escolas particulares do Distrito Federal. Além de que foi fundamentado através de um levantamento bibliográfico cuja finalidade é a busca pela identificação das causas e as perspectivas dos alunos frente às mudanças da sociedade e do meio educacional. Os resultados revelam que é necessário um despertar para uma mudança de concepções no que tange ao ensino de ciências porque há uma dinâmica social que deseja novas ideias, modos e ações e a escola como instituição formadora, os professores e os estudantes precisam acompanhar essas transformações sociais e ultrapassar os modismos estabelecidos na educação desde os seus primórdios. Por fim, com esta publicação espera-se que os educadores sejam capazes de identificar os problemas revelados e utilizar este trabalho como uma ferramenta para superar a forma tradicional de ensinar baseada na mera reprodução do ensino de ciências de forma tão mecanizada, austera, unilateral e isenta de criatividade e inovação. |
| Abstract: | This work had as thematic the investigation of the reasons that have caused the desinterest of the studentes in front of the subjects that involve the teaching of Science in the 21st century and the contribution and influence of the current school model for the establishment of standards Behavior of the students in the Sciences subject. In this way, the objectives of this work aim to analyze the main challenges of Science education and also, it proposes to analyze the reasons that are causing the desinterest, the demotivation and alienation of these students in the themes inherent to the learning in Science. Therefore, the work was developed from an applied research with the purpose of generating knowledge about the challenges involved in the teaching process-learning of sciences in the present time, by using of two questionnaires, one for the teachers and another for students of two private school in the Federal District. Besides that it was founded by a bibliographical survey whose purpose is the search for the identification of the causes and the perspectives of the students in front of the changes of society and the educational environment. The results show that an awakening is needed for a change of conceptions regarding Science education because there is a social dynamic that wants new ideas, modes and actions and the school, as a training institution, teachers and students need follow these social transformations and overcome the fads established in education since its beginnings. Finnaly, with this publication it is expected that educators will be able to identify the problems revealed and use this work as a tool to overcome the traditional way of teaching based on the mere reproduction of Science teaching so mechanized, austere, unilateral and free of creativity and innovation. |
