Classificação da vulnerabilidade geoambiental e levantamento do uso e ocupação do solo da bacia do Rio Mourão - Paraná

Abstract

Geo-environmental studies vulnerability of a watershed serve as support for planning and environmental management. The vulnerability of the basin refers to the elements of geology, geomorphology, slope, soil types and soil texture, which when combined and associated with the type of use and occupation of land can provide important information to more appropriate recommendations for management and use. Within this context, this study aimed to map the geo-environmental vulnerability of the river Mourao, which was associated with the type of use and occupancy of the current soil basin. The basin study has strong representation in the context of water and electricity supply in the region. The work was developed through the creation of a geographic database containing information of slope, soil types and soil texture of the bowl to make possible the generation of the letter of Geo-environmental vulnerability, scale 1:250,000. The use and occupation of land was made to recent pictures LandsatTM5. The results showed that geo-environmental vulnerability of the basin is varied, having its area of approximately 0.02% too high , 2.98 % high , 10% intermediate 63% low and 24% of very low vulnerability . I.e., the basin has most of its territory with very low and low vulnerability to erosion. The use and occupation of the soil are also varied, with a predominance of agriculture (73.4 %). The degree of vulnerability to erosion is influenced by geo-environmental characteristics should be taken into consideration for appropriate management practices with the categories of usability.
