Provisionamento de QOS: estudo comparativo entre algoritmos de escalonamento de pacotes

Abstract

Scalability, efficient management and Quality of Service (QoS) control support the rapid growth of the Internet, forming the basis for an effective support to many different applications. In order to achieve levels of QoS in IP, networks should use different mechanisms such as signaling protocols, algorithms, priority queues control, congestion and scheduling. The latter becomes a subject of vital importance within the explored context, ensuring that the data stream to be served within preestablished parameters. Thus, this work presents an study of a major packet scheduling algorithms PQ, CBQ E WFQ, evaluating strengths and weaknesses of them.
