Análise de risco no carregamento de bobinas de papel

Abstract

Safety at workplace is an issue that concerns everyone involved in the mployer community, including the employer itself, the employees and their families. In several cases the injuries in truck drivers or others in the Loading and Unloading Exclusion Zones (LUEZ) are severe, and in all cases in which the LUEZ is not respected or even neglected, a high potential for severe injures arises. In this paper the methodology of Case Study and Preliminary Risk Assessment were applied to the loading and unloading procedure of bobines on trucks beds by forklift. The survey was conducted in two companies located in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba (RMC) , in São José dos Pinhais and Araucaria, between september and november 2013. The implementation techniques of Case Study and Preliminary Risk Assessment proved to be effective for the recognition of inherent hazards and risks in the loading procedure and unloading procedures on trucks by forklifts. With the Preliminary Risk Assessment, eleven (11) itens were classified as Risk Trivial, eight (08) as Tolerable, seven (07) as Relevant Risks and three (03) as Relevant Risk. Not intolerable risks were identified.
