Migração de sistema operacional utilizando ferramenta system center configuration manager

Abstract

Technology is one of the most important tools for society as a whole as it improves people's quality of life, and leverages corporations to great achievements. It is now very evident that those who invest in technology get better results. One of the technologies needed to run businesses is computers, and these devices need up-todate and modern operating systems to function properly, perform well, and maintain security on the information they carry across the network and the internet. To keep this technology up-to-date and configured, and to make better use of these resources, there is a necessary demand for time and adequate manpower. One of the most aggressive things in computer maintenance is the upgrade or migration of the operating system, because it demands all the data backup of the equipment, and a new complete configuration of the equipment, almost as if it were to set up a new computer. This work brings a proposal for operating system migration on a large number of computers, and in an automated way, keeping users' data backup and their customized settings through the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager tool. Here it will be demonstrated a proposal that makes possible the migration of an operating system while the equipment is idle, allowing economy of technical labor, and without interrupting the daily activities of the companies.
