Aspectos clínicos e educacionais do autismo infantil

Abstract

The present study aims to study clinical and educational aspects of childhood autism, aiming at specific learning strategies, to meet special educational needs. The present investigation was carried out through bibliographical research through readings, analysis and registration of books, periodicals, database related to the subject in question. In the school context, the teacher must understand that the autistic can communicate differently from other children, but they can express what they want, or feel in other ways, as gestures. The language of the teacher should also be as clear as possible, emphasizing the goal that one wants to achieve. Normally, autistic people have difficulty concentrating on various stimuli, só one or two must be selected to focus on learning. Most teachers have little knowledge about inclusion and working methods with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and do not have information on how to work with people with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Therefore, it is necessary that they be able to work with the autistic students, as well as seek to better understand the child to join the family seeking the improvement and interaction of the child with autism in their environment, leaving the student to express their thoughts and giving value to all its expressions. The teacher should observe his student and encourage him with enthusiasm, always with a goal outlined.
