Análise da execução do serviço de proteção e atendimento integral à família: PAIF no município de Guareí-SP

Abstract

This paper was a study of an analysis of the PAIF, which objective was the process of implementing the protection service and comprehensive care to the family at CRAS “Lázara Aparecida de Meira”, in the city of Guareí/SP, and the results obtained, which are focused on improving the quality of life of vulnerable populations. The methodology used was the literature search and exploratory technique, based on books and articles already produced and written by renowned authors in the area of social service. This paper consists of 4 chapters, with the first addressing the social assistance national policy from the perspective of the unified system of social assistance. In the second chapter we dealt with the Reference Center for Social Assistance (CRAS, in portuguese) “Lázara Aparecida de Meira”, in which the focus was CRAS of Guareí/SP, which is the subject of this study. The management of CRAS toward matriciality and territory, as well as the actions undertaken in the CRAS of the municipality in question, makes up the third chapter. And the description of the research, analysis and discussion of research data comprises the fourth chapter. It is hoped that this analysis will help to elucidate the process that constitutes the importance of continuity and development of the protection service and comprehensive care to family, that users of this project developed and improved for years. Today the population feels that it belongs to CRAS and its values, and this is fruit of the effectiveness of the care provided to families, and the actions of CRAS were able to develop capabilities, empowerment, autonomy and the warranty of basic rights to the people.
