Percepção ambiental dos lindeiros da usina hidrelétrica Itá

Abstract

The theme of this paper was to evaluate the environmental perception of the bordering residents in the sorrounding of the reservoir of the Hydroelectric planto f Itá – SC, inserted in the Uruguai river, located on the South of Brazil, between the States of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, about the implantation of the ciliary band and the contribution of the bordering to the success of the recuperation, in order to understand why in many places the ciliary band, after ten years of implantation of the project of recuperation, still doesn’t be preserved. A questionnaire was elaborated, in order to get some information about the profile of the bordering and its perception related to the Hydroelectric, and the protection of the ciliary band, seeing that the education and environmental perception are good tools on the defense of the environment, and help to reconnect the human and the nature, ensuring a future with more quality of life for all, because arouse more responsibility and respect of the men to the environment on what they are inserted.
