Adequação cartográfica de unidades de conservação para o fortalecimento da gestão ambiental territorial

Abstract

This study aims emphasize the importance of the conservation units have cartographic consistency to delimitate their polygonal towards their identification in the field and in the geographic analysis environment, using Geoprocessing and Remote Sensing. R is presented a case study research of APA of cartographic adequacy of APA Joanes-(pitanga, Iocated in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador. This conservation unit presents problems in its cartographic delimitation, besides the intense dynamic and use, what requires a review and update both its polygon and the ecological zoning of conservation units. As results, this work presented criteria to adjust the polygon and cartographic adequacy of Joanes-(pitanga APA which constitute a stage of the Adequacy project of limits of the conservation units of Bahia developed by the Institute of Environment and Management of Water Resources-INEMA, between 2013-2018. For the purposes of territorial environmental management of conservation units, cartographic inconsistencies in the limits and in the delimitation of zones, besides activities in disagreement with the objectives of the conservation units are factors that weaken intervention actions of the managing body. In other hand, the cartographic consistency of conservation units makes possible the precise identification of enterprises and activities in the scope the conservation units and contributes to its management.
