Modelos de planejamento agrícola: um cenário para otimização de processos agroindustriais

Abstract

The agro industrial sectors, increasingly, seek to improve knowledge and technology within their areas. Not only the competition, which is increasingly fierce, but also by the very simple and survival in the market. This means that there is a need to achieve an optimization of actions, which in the case of agribusiness is translated to produce and cultivate food with economy investments, avoiding the waste of raw materials, supplies and manpower, aggravated by being an industry with the adversities of climate. The operational research as a science, structure processes, proposing a set of alternative actions, making the prediction and comparison of values, efficiency and cost. Since the optimization models are used when there is interest in finding the alternative that best meets one or several goals simultaneously, given a set of constraints, usually linear. Having as a principle to obtain optimal solutions for the agro industrial processes of planning and choice of crops, the aim of this work was the construction of optimization models that should be considered so that there is profit maximization in agricultural properties, with improved use of land, capital and manpower in production systems proposed, as well as maximizing the success of opting for certain crops. These models have proved to be able to plan and guide the decision maker as they relate to the type of production system used and also from culture to do what is proper investment. However, they proposed models only serve as tools to aid the decision-making, not discarding the technical interpretation or tacit knowledge of entrepreneurs.
