Planejamento de layout de uma carvoaria utilizando a metodologia SLP

Abstract

The industries’ layout has been adapting and searching for improvements, no longer using positioning in a random manner and going through previously done studies on the production flow and physical arrangement, however many companies try to renew their layout searching more competitiveness and stability in the market. The procedure utilized in this paper will be the SLP (Systematic Layout Planning), a system that aims, through a series of steps, diagnose and search the optimization of the production infrastructure. This study is an analysis of a charcoal plant in the state of São Paulo, proposing modified physical arrangement projects that seek improvements and chooses an appropriate physical arrangement for production and develops an implementation schedule minimizing losses during the period of physical arrangement change.
