Abstract

This paper aims to examine the erotic comics of the genre produced by the publisher Grafipar, located in Curitiba in the late 70's, published between the years 1978 to 1983. It began as was the relationship between product HQ and its social context, history, and how was the process of integration of adult comics in Brazil, its marketing and production. With this you can discuss controversial issues such as the issue of pornography and erotica, from the view of some experts in order to clarify some preconceived ideas and better understanding on the subject and its peculiarities. Another topic was the participation and the use of the feminine image in the context of erotic comics. Within the Grafipar sought to analyze their erotic comics, magazines and commented 25 in total, its main contributors and renowned. Were also cited two major publishers in the national scenario of adult comics, publishers and Edrel Editorial Idea. With the information sought to better understand the history of erotic comics explosion and its marketing success from the publisher Grafipar. The choice by the publisher refers to its historical importance for the struggle for national comics and his vast production of erotic comics. And finally, the result of the research was provided in the form of an almanac with the ultimate goal of serving as a source for potential and future research on the subject, thus contributing to its importance in the study of comics.
