A comunicação eletrônica na secretaria de estado da fazenda do Paraná: desafios e resultados decorrentes da sua implantação

Abstract

Electronic communication in public administration is a technological innovation which is changing the relationship between citizens and government. Contemporary world requires government procedural rapidity. In this context, in December 2012, the Secretary of Finance deployed, in an assisted way, the electronic notification service named “Electronic Tax Domicile – ETD”. ETD also allows tax authorities to send notifications to payers of state taxes, with technology that provides communication in a safe environment managed by the Secretary itself. This study aims to analyze and assess the evolution of procedures for notification about administrative and fiscal processes with the advent of the usage of electronic communication by tax authorities, and to pinpoint the main challenges and difficulties identified during the deployment of that service.
