| Resumo: | O envelhecimento populacional é um fenômeno natural. No Brasil esse processo vem se desenvolvendo há décadas e com isso cresce a demanda por moradia adaptada ao idoso. O setor privado já percebeu essa insuficiência e é o principal investidor em empreendimento desse tipo. Apesar do Estatuto do Idoso estabelecer que o indivíduo tem direito a uma vida independente e participando ativamente na sociedade. A realidade mostra o que muitos vivem sozinhos ou com familiares que não dispõem, de tempo para cuidar de suas exigências. Dessa forma muitos são institucionalizados, em moradias particulares, na qual o indivíduo perde sua liberdade, comprometendo o bem-estar físico e mental. Neste sentido a presente pesquisa busca compreender essas necessidades através de análise de referências bibliográficas e arquitetônicas de modo a propor um projeto de arquitetura que promova a autonomia e a qualidade de vida dos moradores idosos de Pinhais, Paraná. |
| Abstract: | Population aging is a worldwide phenomenon. In Brazil, this process has been developing for decades and with this the demand for quality housing grows. The private sector has already realized this insufficiency and is the main investor in an undertaking of this type. Although the Elderly Statute establishes that the individual has the right to an independent life and to participate actively in society. The reality shows that many live alone or with family members who do not have the time to take care of their demands. In this way, many are institutionalized, in private homes, in which the individual loses his freedom, compromising his physical and mental wellbeing. In this sense, this research seeks to understand these needs through the analysis of bibliographic and architectural references in order to propose an architectural project that promotes the autonomy and quality of life of elderly residents of Pinhais, Paraná. |
