Diagnóstico da gestão econômico-financeira na agricultura familiar: o caso dos horticultores que atuam na feira-livre de Pato Branco - PR

Abstract

Considering the growing need of economic and financial information by the family farming sector, as well as to improve the management of the activity, this study aims to diagnose the perceptions of family farmers, who work in a fair in Pato Branco - PR, about the economic and financial information in the management of horticulture activity. The research consists of a case study, exploratory qualitative approach. Data collection was based on semi-structured interviews, with script set, applied to a sample of three agroecosystems of family farmers who work at the fair. The results obtained show that managers of the properties do not perform formal records of the economic and financial information relating to the productive activity of horticulture and lead their ventures based on practical knowledge and experience acquired over the years acting in the segment. The knowledge of the majority information and economic and financial tools presented were rated as useful, but difficult to control. Also, found that family farmers expect that a control tool would be developed to wider application to the activity, not detailed by product, simple, practical and easy to understand.
