Avaliação da superfície do pavimento asfáltico da rodovia rural OT-433 no município de Toledo-PR

Abstract

In Brazilian municipalities with an essentially agricultural economy, rural road infrastructure is of fundamental importance for social and economic development. Good conditions guarantee the perfect flow of production and bring safety and comfort to vehicle traffic. However, we often come across roads in poor and even abandoned conditions. This study aimed to determine the degree of deterioration by counting and classifying surface defects, assessing traffic conditions and monitoring the development of pathological manifestations existing in a back road in the municipality of Toledo - PR. For the evaluation of the study route, the method established by DNIT 006/2003 - PRO was based on the terminology of DNIT 005/2003 - TER. Surface stretches of rural highway OT-433, which begins at km 253 of highway BR-163 and ends in Vila Ipiranga district, were evaluated. The results showed a high incidence of sinking defects, alligator leather cracks and surface wear. The calculated result for the IGG was 275, which classified the highway with the concept of “terrible” degradation.
