| Resumo: | A presente pesquisa consiste em fazer uma análise sobre as relações de sororidadeentre as personagens femininas do romance Hibisco roxo(2003), de Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, bem como apresentar como ocorre o relacionamento de solidariedade, respeito, cuidado, união e empatiaentre as mulheres da narrativa.Para isso, procurou-se destacar o estilo literário da autora que é um diferencial na literatura africana contemporâneadentro do contexto da escrita pós-colonial. Buscou-se apresentar um panorama geral da literatura africana no pós-colonial e também descrever a importância das vozes das mulheres escritoras africanas dentro da literatura feminina. Adichietraz como foco principal as mulheres e evidencia uma relação de amizade entre elas, mesmo entre as que não têmpropriamente um vínculofamiliar. Para a análise, verificou-se tambéma definição de movimentos como o feminismo, com o propósito de constatar que a postura feministadas personagens dessa narrativa contribuipara o surgimento da sororidade. Buscaram-se, para embasar a análise, referenciais teóricos que pudessem discutir tanto a literatura africana quanto a questão do feminismo e da sororidade. Por isso, utilizou-se a concepção da própria autora por meio das obrasSejamos todos feministas (2014) e Para educar crianças feministas (2017), como tambémautores como Chinua Achebe (2012), Natália Telega-Soares (2014), Fernanda Oliveira Müller (2017), Babi Souza (2016), Thomas Bonnici (2007), entre outros.Desse modo, conseguiu-se depreender que, em Hibisco roxo, a união feminina propicia identificação, companheirismo e a solidariedade entre as mulheres, rompendo, assim, com o pensamento existente na sociedade que propaga a rivalidade feminina.Sendo assim, acredita-se que o resultado deste estudo possa contribuir de maneira eficaz para outras pesquisas, agregando criticamente um conhecimento a respeito das discussões levantadas por Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, não somente no livro analisado, mas em todas as suas obras. |
| Abstract: | The present research consists of analyzing the relations of sorority between the female characters of the novel Purple Hibiscus (2003) by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, as well as presenting the relationship of solidarity, respect, care, unity and empathy between the women of the narrative.For this, it was sought to highlight the author's literary style that is a differential in contemporary African literature within the context of postcolonial writing.It was sought to present an overview of African literature in the postcolonial and also to describe the importance of the voices of African women writers within women's literature.Adichie's main focus is on women and shows a relationship of friendship between them, even among those who do not have a family bond. For the analysis, it also verified the definition of movements as feminism, with the purpose of verifying that the feminist position of the characters in this narrative contributes to the emergence of sorority.To support the analysis, theoretical references were used to discuss both African literature and the issue of feminism and sorority.For that, the author's own conception was utilized through the works We are all feminists (2014) and Dear Ijeawele, or A Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions, (2017), as well as authors such as Chinua Achebe (2012), Natália Telega-Soares (2014), Fernanda Oliveira Müller (2017), Babi Souza (2016), Thomas Bonnici (2007), among others.In this way, it was possible to be understood that in Purple Hibiscus, the feminine union provides identification, companionship and the solidarity between the women, thus breaking with the existent thought in the society that propagates the feminine rivalry.Thus, it is believed that the result of this study can contribute effectively to other research, critically aggregating knowledge about the discussions raised by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, not only in the book analyzed but in all her works. |
